Paul Ecke Central advances its mission of educating our children and every year, parents & the community of PEC raises over $137,000 to fund programs that are not covered by the current California state budget. These donations have enabled us to fund key programs such as art, music, math, science, teacher mini-grants, field trips, sports and much, much more. With the help of donations from supporters, such as you, we will continue to see the positive impact of these programs at PEC. Your contributions make a difference in the lives of each one of our students. Thank you!

We have five fundraising events throughout the school year, and a few passive fundraisers which contribute to the school programs. Here is a snapshot of the activities and what they support.

EEF

The Encinitas Education Foundation (EEF) is a private non-profit fundraising organization that promotes and supports all students of EUSD through additional funding from the PTA and the PEC parents.  

EEF funds raised through each of the nine Encinitas elementary schools events goes back to that specific school.  Funds raised through several district-wide EEF fundraisers throughout the year gets evenly dispersed to the schools for various educational needs.

EEF is important for PEC because funds help with instructional programs that enrich and supplement the PEC curriculum such as music, art, science, library, BizTown, etc. It’s also vital to provide insurance and administrative support for events such as the Night-Time Fundraiser and Restaurant Nights which raise vital money for our school.
