I am a professor of English and Comparative Literature at San Diego State University. I grew up in Encinitas/Del Mar and, after 18 years away, am very happy to be back. I am the proud parent of Logan(6th) and Nash(4th). I work at Qualcomm as an IT Engineer.  My goal this year is to make sure that everyone feels connected at PEC and has access to what is going on at the school.  Being a part of the PTA helps me feel more connected to the school community and my kids.

I have two children at PEC –  a sixth grader in Ms. Escobedo’s class and a fourth grader in Mr. Leonard’s class.  I also sit at home and write appellate briefs for fun.  As the VP of Programs, my goal is to get everyone involved in the PEC community to make our school the best it can be.  I hope to meet as many people as I can this year.

lisaspencer_biopicI am a mom of two boys; Sam is a 7th grader at Oak Crest and Madox is in Ms. Skerrett’s 5th grade class.  I recently started a Functional Nutrition business and you can usually find me at someone’s practice,  on my bike or surfing.  As the VP of Health and Wellness, my goal is to support events and programs at PEC that keep us happy, healthy and moving.

By day, I am the managing partner of a law firm in Carlsbad helping business and real estate clients.  By night (and weekends) I am the father of four PEC students (Asha, Tej, Shreyas and Anik) along with my gorgeous wife, Pooja.

I am the mom of two incredible boys, Griffin (grade 5) and Levi (grade 3), both in the DLI program. I work part-time as a pediatric nurse, and spend most of my days off volunteering at PEC. My goal is to spread school spirit throughout our PEC community!

Mom of 3 kids: a 5th grader here at PEC, an 8th grader at Oak Crest Middle School, and a 10th grader at SDA. I work full time locally at the Leichtag Foundation and have a wellness business, too. I’m on the PTA Board because it’s a way I can be involved even though I can’t be on campus during the school day.
